What level should I register my student for?

We provide complimentary evaluations sessions before lessons starts for those that don’t know their ability level. Below is a short review of our lesson levels:

• Level 1: Students learn to float and go underwater unassisted.
• Level 2: Students learn to streamline, front and back crawl, and treading water.
• Level 3: Students learn to swim longer distances, introductions to butterfly and breaststroke.
• Level 4: Students continue longer distances, multiple pool lengths, practice and drills of all strokes.

I’m an adult! I want to learn to swim!

GREAT! We have private lessons available for anything outside our youth oriented group lessons. Check our schedule and availability to register!

How much are lessons?

How do I pay for lessons?

You can pay in person at your first lesson by cash, check or charge. Checks can be made out the The Leelanau Swim School, LLC. We accept all major credit cards.

What do I bring?

Swimsuit, towel, goggles if you like. We prefer to not use nose plugs until the students are at higher levels. Shampoo and conditioner if you like.
